Job description McEnroe Organic Farm and Compost Facility is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our daily operations and executive leadership. This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our farm and compost facility, providing administrative, financial, and organizational support across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and supporting a mission-driven organization committed to organic agriculture and environmental stewardship. Full-Time (or Part-Time, if applicable) Key Responsibilities 1. Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks, including data entry, reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting, 2. Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks, 3. Complete and submit annual applications, certifications, and compliance documentation, including but not limited to:NOFA (Northeast Organic Farming Association), OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) and DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation), 4. Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and project assistance, 5. Assist in preparing materials for board meetings, including agendas, reports, and meeting minutes, 6. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial, regulatory, and operational documents, 7. Serve as a point of contact for internal staff, board members, vendors, and external agencies, 8. Support general office operations, including phone and email management, 9. Experience with QuickBooks and basic accounting practices, 10. Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Experience with regulatory filings, certifications, or compliance documentation preferred, 11. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Mondays, 12. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, 13. Strong written and verbal communication skills, 14.
