Job Details We are a fun, boutique pet company located in the heart of NYC looking for an experienced dog walker to work on the Upper East Side. Hours are range from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm or 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm The ideal candidate must love dogs :) be prompt and professional. We’re looking for an exceptional dog expert who can provide care and love to our dogs. We have great clients, sweet dogs and we love to have fun! We are looking for someone who really loves to be around dogs and understands their behaviors and needs. We’re looking for commitment of least at 6-months or more. Must be available the following times: Monday - Friday Hours: - 7:30 am to 12:30 pm Qualifications Must be a true animal/dog lover Strong communication skills with clients Punctuality: It is important to be on time for your walks The job requires lots of walking. You won’t be walking all hours straighgt (there are breaks throughout the shift) but you must be able to be on your feet for most of the day. We are accepting applicants willing and able to make a minimum 6+ months commitment to employment with our company. Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who loves working with animals! Duties: - Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being - Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and exercise - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the daycare facility, including cleaning up after accidents or spills - Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent any undesired/unsafe interactions - Assist with training exercises and reinforce positive behaviors Qualifications: - No experience necessary - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and care - Strong communication skills - Ability to stand for several hours during training exercises - Passion for animals and dedication to providing exceptional care -We are looking for a few passionate, teachable people who love animals and are open minded. Qualifications & Requirements: Age: 18 years or older. Legal US work authorization. A minimum of 1.5 years of work experience in the pet care industry. Key Responsibilities: Dog Care: Oversee and manage the dogs in the play yards, ensuring their safety and well-being. Monitor, play with, and interact with dogs. Must be able to understand dog body language. Facility Management: Conduct tasks associated with opening and closing the facility. This includes setting up TDC for doggy daycare in the morning and shutting it down for bedtime in the evening. Dog Interviews: Assist in interviewing new dogs to determine their suitability for our environment. Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of play and prep areas, break rooms, and other areas within TDC. Additionally, maintain a clean exterior environment, including the lobby, the area in front of TDC, and other adjacent spaces. Dog Logistics: Safely run dogs between the back-of-house and front-of-house areas. Prepare meals for the dogs, dispense medications when required, and maintain accurate food and medication logs. Customer Interaction: Greet pet parents and their dogs upon arrival and departure. Check dogs in and out of TDC and answer pet parents' questions. Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained, being active and attentive to dogs and their owners at all times.
