We are seeking experienced Line Cooks, Grill Cooks and Saute persons to join our kitchen team for Prime39 and Prime on the Mile (Lynbrook and Freeport). The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes. Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Follow recipes and presentation specifications - Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently - Maintain a clean and organized workstation - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages - Requirements: - Proven experience as a Line Cook, Grill Cook, Saute or relevant position - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Understanding of food safety practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills - Knowledge of food temperatures and plating - Diploma from a culinary school is a plus - Nice-to-have Skills: - Dietary aide experience - Menu planning skills - Proficiency with knives - Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks - Previous experience in food service or meal preparation - Familiarity with food handling regulations - Join our team as a Line Cook, Grill Cook or Saute person and showcase your culinary expertise in a dynamic kitchen environment.
