Job Description The duties and responsibilities of a Cook include: • Preparing and cooking meals as per recipes or special customer requests, • Inspecting food items and ingredients for freshness and quality, discarding anything that does not meet standards, • Developing and testing new recipes and menu items, • Maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen area, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and dishes, • Monitoring and maintaining inventory, and ordering new supplies when necessary, • Adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations, • Assisting with the planning of menus, considering factors such as seasonality and ingredient availability, • Presenting, garnishing and arranging the dishes, • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding food quality or preparation
