As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items consistently and efficiently during service, maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety. NYC Food handlers card is needed - Inventory & Supplies: Assist in managing inventory levels for your station, notifying supervisors when supplies are running low. - Time Management: Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours, to ensure timely preparation and service of food. - Quality Control: Ensure that each dish is prepared according to the specifications and standards of the restaurant. Address any inconsistencies promptly. Requirements: - Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment. - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. - Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality. - Team player with excellent communication skills. Conversational English is an absolute requirement - Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling.
