The Behavior Technician role entails supporting students who require behavioral support by utilizing ABA strategies to manage maladaptive behaviors and ensuring students are staying on track with their classwork and school activities. Amergis Staffing is looking for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support in the Orange County schools. We are hiring for summer positions and Fall 2024! Requirements: Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of California (required) Experience working in a school setting as a Speech Language Pathologist (required) Valid CCC (required) What We Offer: Monday - Friday || 37-40 hours a week for Fall and 15-20 hours a week for Summer Pay Rate starts at $80 / hour and goes up DOE Travel package available to those who qualify! Start date: Summer 2024/Fall 2024 with immediate interview via Zoom Shift is between the hours of 7am-5pm (during Benefits available - medical, dental, & vision! Travel Package: Total Weekly: $3036.50 Weekly Allowances (not taxed on paycheck) - $1799 Weekly Taxable on Paycheck: $1237.50 Responsibilities: Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions to patients with speech, language and/or hearing deficits in accordance with physician orders. Assesses patient needs; plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions. Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Instructs patient/family/caregivers on patient's total speech therapy program. Other Speech Language Pathologist duties as assigned. Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this positon based on the circumstances. The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.
