Hourly rate for driving a regular route: $30/hr with 4 hr min. paid per day (though most routes are shorter than this). Option to drive field trips: 3 hr trip, every other Tuesday (June 24; July 8; July 22; August 5): $55 each trip Weekly, Wednesday, 4 hr trip (June 25; July 1; July 9; July 16; July 23): $70 each trip Full day trips - must drive this program daily (7/28-8/7): $150/day + "perks" - lunch and daily activity included Duties Safely operate a school bus or van to transport campers to camp and/or on trips. Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit. Educate passengers on safety protocols and proper behavior while on the bus. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Requirements Valid CDL with school bus endorsement; experience in school bus driving or van driving is preferred. Clean driving record Background check will be conducted. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks. Previous experience working with children or in school settings is highly desirable. Ability to maintain accurate records as required by the organization. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and their families. A commitment to safety and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Position Overview: As a part of our dedicated team, CDL Drivers will be operating a SiteOne vehicle to deliver world-class service and landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to our customers. CDL Drivers are also responsible for loading and unloading trucks in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully. This position will include the use of in-vehicle dash cameras to ensure the safety of SiteOne drivers, workforce, and the general public. Position: CDL A Truck Driver Location: Roselle, NJ (serving VMG Group or related contractor logistics) Job Summary: Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport construction materials, equipment, or waste between job sites, warehouses, and suppliers. Support construction projects by ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of materials. Must comply with all DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations while driving. (Common requirement for this type of work in the area.) Typical Duties: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; document any mechanical issues. Safely operate tractor-trailers or heavy vehicles to deliver building materials to job sites. Coordinate with project supervisors or dispatchers on schedule and delivery details. Load and unload materials as needed or oversee helpers who do so. Ensure compliance with delivery schedule and report delays or issues promptly. Maintain logs and records in accordance with DOT requirements. Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A license (required). Clean driving record and ability to pass drug/physical examination.
