Position: CDL A Truck Driver Location: Roselle, NJ (serving VMG Group or related contractor logistics) Job Summary: Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport construction materials, equipment, or waste between job sites, warehouses, and suppliers. Support construction projects by ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of materials. Must comply with all DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations while driving. (Common requirement for this type of work in the area.) Typical Duties: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; document any mechanical issues. Safely operate tractor-trailers or heavy vehicles to deliver building materials to job sites. Coordinate with project supervisors or dispatchers on schedule and delivery details. Load and unload materials as needed or oversee helpers who do so. Ensure compliance with delivery schedule and report delays or issues promptly. Maintain logs and records in accordance with DOT requirements. Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A license (required). Clean driving record and ability to pass drug/physical examination. Experience driving heavy vehicles in construction or freight delivery preferred. Familiarity with DZ routes around NJ/NY metropolitan areas a plus.

Position Overview: As a part of our dedicated team, CDL Drivers will be operating a SiteOne vehicle to deliver world-class service and landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to our customers. CDL Drivers are also responsible for loading and unloading trucks in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully. This position will include the use of in-vehicle dash cameras to ensure the safety of SiteOne drivers, workforce, and the general public. In-vehicle dash cameras are designed to enhance job performance, driver and public safety, and provide assistance in critical situations. What you’ll do: Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state and federal transportation regulations Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person or over the phone Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance Assist with other branch responsibilities as needed Do no obstruct or interfere with in-vehicle dash cameras, which must remain on during working time. Cameras may be turned off during off-duty time. Adhere to all SiteOne safety and security protocols, including but not limited to required use of in-vehicle dash cameras.
