Job Description Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. RESPONSIBILITIES: Talent Development & Learning • Design and develop training programs and materials using a variety of instructional tools and methodologies, • Implement, monitor, and evaluate training and development initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and business needs, • Conduct training needs analyses and skills gap assessments, • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and learning sessions (in-person and virtual), • Support performance management processes and development planning, • Partner with managers to create individual development plans (IDPs), • Assist with leadership development and succession planning initiatives, • Collaborate with HR team and leadership to support talent retention strategies, • Analyze employee feedback, engagement surveys, and development metrics, • Measure effectiveness of training programs using data and feedback, • Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership, • Collaborate with division directors, managers, and employees to update manual instruction material REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field, • At least three years of experience in designing and developing training products for adult learners, with at least two years related to eLearning., • Coursework or experience in adult learning theory, adult education, instructional methods, media and systems design., • Knowledge of eLearning design principles and technologies, instructional design and adult learning., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and ability to learn additional software as required., • Knowledge of Catholic Cemeteries policies, procedures and traditions a plus., • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization and follow through on all assigned work., • Strong organizational, priority-setting and time management skills., • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written fashion with co-workers and management, with ability to write both instructional and conversational text as well as scripted dialogue. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills., • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills., • Ability to maintain confidentiality of work records., • An operational vehicle since the position requires occasional travel to cemeteries across the Archdiocese., • Strong interpersonal, conflict management and diplomacy skills., • Highly adaptable with the ability to prioritize work in a quickly changing environment., • Member of the Catholic Church with an understanding of Catholic faith practices preferred.Company DescriptionAt the Catholic Cemeteries of Chicago, we are deeply connected by our mission to be a living presence of God’s love in our midst.
