Job Description Warehouse & Logistics Manager Location: Brooklyn, NY | Onsite Industry: Distribution / Supply Chain Build It. Own It. Lead It. Our client is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Warehouse & Logistics Manager to take full ownership of our Brooklyn-based warehouse and transportation operations. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives on bringing structure, discipline, and modern supply chain practices into an operation that is ready for its next level of performance. What You’ll Be Responsible For Warehouse & Transportation Operations • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations and a small fleet/driver team, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity., • Manage labor scheduling and daily workload planning., • Own inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and system discipline., • Design and implement meaningful KPIs across warehouse and transportation functions., • Build daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities., • Help transition operations from manual/visual tools (whiteboards, clipboards) to a system-driven ERP/WMS environment., • Develop, document, and enforce SOPs for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and dispatch., • Lead, mentor, and schedule warehouse associates and drivers., • Establish a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and strong housekeeping standards., • Manage the warehouse and transportation operating budget., • Analyze labor, freight, and operational costs to identify savings and efficiency gains., • Ensure effective use of space, equipment, and personnel.
