Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control
Prepare and cook food according to Jamaican recipes and standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Help with customer service, including taking orders and handling walk-in customers when necessary
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
Qualifications:
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of Jamaican cuisine
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to take direction and work independently as needed
Willingness to work at the counter to handle overflow
