BAKING PREP / PACKER

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for distribution. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Duties Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and lift trucks safely and efficiently. Inspect products for quality assurance before packing them for shipment. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage packing processes. Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Perform equipment repairs as needed to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse. Assist in heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing goals and deadlines. Experience Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, is beneficial. Experience operating pallet jacks reach trucks, or similar equipment is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods is essential. Requirements: - Proficiency in computers (PC and Mac) - Proficiency in Shipstation and Shopify preferred - Be able to problem solve and collaborate with team members in different departments - Be comfortable working in temperatures between 50 F and 90 F, depending on weather, as well in a noisy environment - Be available 5 or 6 days a week (Monday through Saturday) - Be able to carry at least 30 lb., stand/walk for up to 10 hours/day, and regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach below the waist/above the head - Speak English, Spanish, or both - Adhere to company policies regarding presentation, cleanliness, timeliness, and professionalism Job Description: - Oversee order fulfillment for eCommerce customer orders, ensure accuracy of everything leaving the facility - Supervise the packing team, delegate responsibilities between team members as necessary - Coordinate with other team leads to ensure that all customer and corporate orders are fulfilled and shipped - Train employees on company policies and product standards; set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with management - Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment for all team members - Oversee opening and closing of warehouse daily operations - Perform general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area Salary: $25/hour

Job Summary: The Picker/Packer & Returns Specialist will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, as well as receiving and testing returned items. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and that any returned items are assessed and processed efficiently. Picking and Packing: Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications and prepare them for shipping. Packing: Safely pack items using appropriate materials, ensuring they are secure and ready for transit. Labeling: Create and affix shipping labels and documentation to outgoing packages, ensuring accuracy. Returns Management: Receiving Returns: Inspect and receive returned items from customers, ensuring all returned products are logged accurately. Testing Products: Conduct thorough testing of returned items to assess functionality and determine if they can be restocked or require further action. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of returned items, including reasons for return and testing outcomes.
