Barista - Cafe Inn

Cafe Inn is seeking a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced and welcoming environment. This role involves preparing a variety of hot and cold beverages, operating coffee equipment, and ensuring every customer feels valued.
Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly service.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items, following company standards.
• Operate and maintain all coffee-related equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including countertops, tables, and the seating area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and paper goods, as needed.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
  Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service, food service, or barista role is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
