Asturia Brewing Company is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Beertender to join our growing team. If you enjoy craft beer, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced brewery environment, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Beertender, you'll be the face of our taproom—serving guests, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and helping create an exceptional brewery experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve craft beer, hard seltzers, and other beverages while providing outstanding customer service.
- Greet guests and educate them about our products.
- Proactively check on customers and offer additional beverages when glasses are empty.
- Wash, sanitize, and polish all glassware.
- Bus tables by collecting empty glasses and maintaining a clean taproom.
- Wipe and sanitize tables between guests.
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the day and after closing.
- Assist with cleaning and stocking restrooms as needed.
- Help maintain brewery cleanliness, including light housekeeping and organization.
- Restock glassware, merchandise, and taproom supplies.
- Follow all responsible alcohol service policies and verify IDs when required.
- Work as part of a team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending, serving, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties throughout every shift.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to safely lift and move over 150 pounds, including changing full beer kegs.
