Position Summary As a Host at NORTE, you are the first and final point of contact for our guests and play an essential role in creating the energy, hospitality, and professionalism of the restaurant. Responsibilities • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests, • Take food and beverage orders accurately, • Have strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and Italian cuisine, • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when working behind the bar, • Maintain a clean and organized bar, dining room, and service station, • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service procedures, • Work closely with bartenders, servers, bussers, kitchen staff, and management, • Handle POS transactions and guest checks accurately, • Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties, • Maintain a positive and professional attitude during busy service Requirements • Valid Food Protection/Food Handler Certificate required, • Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred, • Bartending experience required for bartender applicants, • Strong communication and customer-service skills, • Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and spirits is a plus, • Must be reliable, punctual, professional, and a team player, • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, • Weekend and evening availability preferred Positions Available: Bartender / Server (Waiter/Waitress) If you are experienced, dependable, and passionate about hospitality, we would love to meet you.
