Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger.
Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly financial reports.
Process accounts receivable and payable.
Manage payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Collaborate with accountants during audits or end-of-year tax filings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, or similar accounting software.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
