  Job Description Bilingual Full Charge Bookkeeper A dynamic company in the Fort Myers Area is looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented, and have experience dealing with financial data. Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pay Rate: $25-$30 / Hr. based on experience Bilingual Full Charge Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities: A full charge bookkeeper's duties encompass the full cycle of accounting. • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing the flow of money into and out of the business, including processing vendor invoices, issuing client invoices and ., • General Ledger Maintenance: Accurately recording all financial transactions and making necessary adjustments and journal entries., • Reconciliations: Performing bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies., • Payroll Management: Processing employee timesheets and payroll, and remitting associated payroll taxes., • Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and Balance Sheet., • Tax Preparation Support: Assisting with tax-related processes and preparing documentation for external Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) or auditors., • Education: An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred., • Experience: Experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles ( 3-5+ years)., • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks online and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is essential., • Ability to track job costs and profitability in QuickBooks, • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, integrity, and effective communication are crucial for managing complex financial data and interacting with management, vendors and clients., • Certifications: Professional certifications, such as the Certified Bookkeeper (CB) credential from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB), can enhance qualifications., • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Benefits: • 401(k) Retirement Plan, • Holiday Pay Work with a Staffing Firm that works for you!
