Document functional and non‑functional requirements in clear, structured templates
Create process flows, use cases, and user stories (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
Facilitate stakeholder review sessions to validate requirements
Collaborate with remote development and QA teams to clarify ambiguities
Maintain a shared requirements traceability matrix (simple spreadsheets – no complex tools required)
Participate in weekly team standups (30 minutes, asynchronous option available)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of professional business analysis experience (IT projects preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication (requirements documents, emails, meeting summaries)
Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications without jargon
Experience with process modeling (flowcharts, swimlanes, BPMN basics)
Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies – we use a hybrid, low‑ceremony approach
Comfort facilitating meetings with diverse stakeholders (end users, managers, developers)
Technical / Tool Skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – advanced
Diagramming tool (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar)
Collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, SharePoint, or Teams)
Basic SQL querying (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) – preferred but not required; we provide training
Professional / Soft Skills:
Active listening and paraphrasing
Attention to detail without perfectionism
Ability to work asynchronously (document first, then meet)
Patience with ambiguous or evolving requirements
Dependability – meet deadlines, communicate delays early
Citizenship Requirement:
Must be a U.S. citizen (verified upon offer)
Preferred (Not Required)
CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification
Experience in healthcare, government, or nonprofit domains
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps (we train)
Interest in part‑time or flexible schedules
Compensation & Benefits
