In addition to being a skilled carpenter, capable of performing rough and finish carpentry for residential gut renovations, you are comfortable managing and overseeing a crew to complete carpentry projects within budget and schedule. You present yourself professionally and work well with other carpenters and trades on the job site. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Performing rough and finish carpentry (framing, sheetrock, cornerbead, base and crown molding, hanging doors and windows and casing) to expected quality standards. * Overseeing and directing project crew members to complete carpentry phases for gut renovations (framing, sheetrock, installing doors, trim, punch list, etc.) and making sure carpentry work is performed properly and meets expected quality standards. * Assisting in the coordination of carpentry work with that of other trades. * Generating material orders on a weekly basis for the following week. * Interacting with site visitors (inspectors, building staff, clients, designers, architects, etc.) in absence of the Project Manager.
