We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to operate a non-CDL box truck for regional and long-haul deliveries. You will be responsible for safely transporting loads, maintaining open communication with dispatch and owners, and ensuring professionalism with both shippers and receivers. Responsibilities • Safely operate a non-CDL box truck, • Ensure timely pickups and deliveries, • Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections, • Maintain communication about routes, delays, and delivery status, • Secure cargo properly and adhere to DOT safety regulations, • Keep the truck clean and report any mechanical issues Requirements • Valid non-CDL driver’s license, • Preferably 1–2 years of box truck driving experience, • Clean driving record, • Ability to pass a background check and drug test if required, • Familiarity with GPS, ELD (if applicable), and basic paperwork like BOLs, • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional Pay • Compensation can be based on a percentage of the load or per-mile/per-trip, depending on experience, • Competitive pay discussed during the interview Additional Information • The truck is based in Newark, NJ, • Routes may include local, regional, or out-of-state trips, • No CDL is required, and Hazmat is not required unless you choose to add it later Application Instructions Please provide your driving experience, availability, and contact information when applying.
