We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team for both lunch and dinner service. Our menu celebrates the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia, drawing influence from Indonesian and Malaysian ingredients and preparation techniques, alongside classic Singaporean dishes. Candidates with previous experience in these specific cuisines and flavor profiles are highly encouraged to apply. Offering $23-$27 hourly.

Minimum Qualifications • One year experience as a cook working in an institutional kitchen., • Experience in preparing food and cooking meals for large groups (88+ persons), kitchen operations, and handling of kitchen equipment., • Applicant must have successfully completed the Health Academy Food Sanitation Course., • Applicant must be willing to work a schedule that includes one weekend day weekly. - Applicant must also be free of any contagious or communicable diseases (e.g., tuberculosis). Additional Desired Qualifications • Background in nutrition, catering or meal planning., • Bilingual (Spanish/English), • Experience working with older adults, formerly homeless, mental health or substance abusers, • Valid New York City driver's license, • Certified in basic First Aid and CPR.
