BirriaLES is a Mexican cuisine and Birria is a dish from the state of Jalisco. The dish is a spicy stew, traditionally made from goat meat or mutton, but occasionally from beef or chicken. We are looking for highly motivated cashiers/host to give excellent customer service. We have two locations as of now and are looking for full-time and part time positions. Requirements but not limited to: WE ARE LOOKING FOR CASHIERS/LINE COOK/PREP ~ LINECOOK/PREP/ CASHIERS • Kitchen and grill experience in Mexican cuisine, • Minimum 2 years of host/cashier/Grill/packing experience, • Good communication skills, ability to work any day of the week and any time of the day, • Ability to take customer orders in person and by phone, organized and can pack multiple deliveries, send orders out in a fast-paced environment, • Has great phone etiquette, customer service, polite and presentable, • Committed to work, is passionate, and a great team player, • Prompt, reliable, straightforward, smart, and willing to learn, • Experienced in using POS systems, • Ability to provide an attentive and fine service in a high volume setting and effectively with a sense of urgency, • Be able to communicate gracefully and efficiently to the guests and co-workers, • Consistently maintain service standards, daily side-work and set-up, • Team player with a positive attitude If interested, please respond to this posting and we will contact you to schedule an interview. Job Details The Nest Williamsburg Overview: As a Cook at The Nest, you’ll play a key role in bringing our food to life. You’ll work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to prepare dishes with consistency and care, making sure every plate meets our quality and presentation standards. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. What You’ll Do: • Daily food preparation, cooking, and execution of menu items., • Uphold recipes, portioning, and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency., • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times., • Follow food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines., • Restock and rotate ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure freshness., • Assist with prep tasks, inventory, and receiving deliveries as needed., • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow., • Support in maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any issues promptly.
