Born from Whitestone in 1961, Freddy’s is where old-school New York nostalgia meets intentional craftsmanship. Our dough takes seven days to develop, built slowly with care instead of shortcuts. We run a daily poolish and maintain our own aged starter, because depth of flavor doesn’t happen overnight. We use unbleached, unbromated flours, including imported Italian blends chosen for quality and how they feel to eat. Everything you taste here is made in-house—from our sauces to our soft serve—because if it matters to the experience, we make it ourselves. Every step has intention behind it, from the first stretch of dough to the last bite. You’ll be hands-on making pizzas, building orders, and bringing a sense of warmth and consistency to every guest interaction. This is a fast-paced, team-driven environment where care matters just as much as speed. You’ll learn the rhythm, take pride in what you put out, and help deliver an experience that feels personal—not transactional. Your Day-to-Day Build pizzas, calzones, and menu items on the makeline Package orders accurately and efficiently Keep food safety and quality standards locked in Maintain a clean, organized, ready-to-serve workspace Deliver friendly, fast, and accurate service every shift Work closely with a small, tight-knit team that moves together Help create a guest experience that feels warm, nostalgic, and intentional What We’re Looking For We can teach you the food.
