The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for assisting customers by providing information about products and services, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The CSR serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.


Key Responsibilities:


Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a professional and timely manner.


Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, and procedures.


Resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.


Process orders, returns, exchanges, and account updates as needed.


Maintain and update customer records in the system.


Escalate complex issues to supervisors or appropriate departments when necessary.


Follow company guidelines, policies, and customer service standards.


Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.


Work collaboratively with team members to improve customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent required.


Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.


Basic computer skills and familiarity with customer service software or CRM systems.


Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.


Professional, patient, and positive attitude.


Work Environment:


May work in an office, call center, retail, or remote setting.


Full-time or part-time schedules may be available, including weekends or holidays depending on the company.
