Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Team Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, possess strong food handling skills, and be comfortable working in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Prior experience in food preparation, POS systems, and restaurant operations is highly desirable. This position requires a NYC Food Handlers Duties • Prepare and serve food items & coffee drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, • Operate POS systems (Toast), • Assist customers with ordering, upselling menu items, and providing exceptional customer service, • Handle food safely by following sanitation and food safety protocols, • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations through bussing and sanitation tasks, • Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations, • Support team members in food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations, • Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures, • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Qualifications • Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred, • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus, • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy, • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures, • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively, • Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous

Monitor food handling, storage, and FIFO inventory rotation. Complete required temperature logs, safety checklists, and compliance documentation. Maintain an “A” grade standard at all times. Inventory & Cost Control Oversee stocking, ordering, and waste management. Monitor food costs and labor to meet performance targets. Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and coordinate repairs when needed. Guest Experience Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Maintain a positive, welcoming dining environment. Lead by example in hospitality and service excellence. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE Valid NYC Food Protection Certificate (REQUIRED). Must be 21 years or older. Prior management or supervisory experience in a restaurant environment. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and NYC health regulations. Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Strong communication skills in the primary language(s) of the restaurant. High school diploma (preferred).
