We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced deli environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Operate the POS system to process customer orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and orders
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
Experience - Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or deli setting is preferred
- Preparing food: Slicing meats and cheeses, making sandwiches, and pricing and packaging items
- Familiarity with Clover POS system is a plus
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment
