Job Description As a Cashier, you are the primary point of contact for our guests. You are responsible for creating a positive first impression, accurately managing orders, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. This role requires energy, a professional appearance, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Customer Engagement: Greet guests warmly, answer menu questions, and provide suggestions., • Order Accuracy: Efficiently enter orders into the POS system and handle cash, credit, and digital payments with 100% accuracy., • Delivery Management: Monitor and organize orders coming in through third-party platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash to ensure they are ready for pickup., • Front-of-House Maintenance: Keep the counter, dining area, and condiment stations clean, stocked, and sanitized throughout the shift., • Team Support: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team (Bakers) to track product levels and ensure we never run out of our most popular patty varieties., • Cross-Training: Be willing to learn basic food prep or beverage service to support the team during peak hours. Requirements • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required., • Experience: Previous experience in retail or food service is preferred but not required (we provide full training)., • Certification: Must be able to obtain a Food Handler Certification within one week of hire., • Skills: Strong basic math skills and proficiency with technology (tablets/POS systems)., • Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–40 lbs., • Availability: Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
