Oak and Orange Hospitality is looking for a hardworkingCashier/Barista to greet, ring up, and serve caffeinatedbeverages to our customers in Mineola, Long Island. Our shop is open from Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am to 4pm (shifts will vary). - Smile and greet customers in the shop. - Prepare and serve our simple beverage program which consists of items like hot drip coffee, iced coffee, matcha, apple cider, lemonade, teas & chai. - Ensure drip is brewed throughout your shift. - Operate Square register and accept payment from customers. - Track inventory of beverages and market goods - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and prices. Pay range is $18-$21 per hour, plus tips with potential for performance-based & sign-on bonuses. Reach out if you’re interested in joining our team!
Oak and Orange Hospitality is looking for a Line Cook to assemble & prep our sandwiches, salads & breakfast during service at our eatery and market in Mineola, Long Island. Great opportunity to grow within the company! Flexible hours! Full-time& Part-time availability Monday-Friday for breakfast shift and/or lunch shift needed. -Has experience making sandwiches, salads and/or eggs in a fast-casual dining environment either in the FOH or BOH (you will be building sandwiches behind a customer-facing line) OR experience working on a line in the front of house. -Ability to communicate with kitchen staff, and FOH staff -Prep sandwich, salad and/or breakfast station which includes slicing/dicing veggies, slicing meats, making spreads, dressing & follow basic recipes for sandwich fillings (eggplant, egg salad) etc. -Follow open/close procedures and maintain a clean station -Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high-volume -Responsible and has good communication skills -Able to stand, bend, and reach for the entire shift -Lift 30 pounds -Experience working with a meat slicer is a plus but not required -Reliable
