Hours are M-F 7:30am to 5:30pm (schedule with breaks). The ideal candidate must love dogs and have professional experience, be prompt and professional. We’re looking for an exceptional dog expert who can provide care and love to our dogs. We have great clients, sweet dogs and we love to have fun! We are looking for someone who really loves to be around dogs and understands their behaviors and needs. We’re looking for commitment of least at 6-months or more. Qualifications Professional experience Must be a true animal/dog lover Strong communication skills with clients Punctuality: It is important to be on time for your walks The job requires lots of walking. You won’t be walking all hours straighgt (there are breaks throughout the shift) but you must be able to be on your feet for most of the day. This is a part-time on-site role as a Pet Care Provider located in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to providing care for pets and ensuring their well-being. Dog walking and indoor pet feeding and some longer hours of pet sitting on occasion will be required.

Dog Walker Looking for a part-time dog walker to join the Parkside Pups team! Our dog walkers are an integral part of our pack and so it is important that this role is filled by an individual who shares our primary values when walking our pups: Safety Reliability And fun! Job Responsibilities Include: Weekly communication with the Parkside Pups management team Walking up to 3 pups at a time for 30-min or 1 hr walks Writing a 3 sentence report recapping the walk for the pawrents. Taking photos of the pups during each walk Pet Sitting and Boarding based on availability Certification in First Aid and CPR for dogs, if not already certified Required Availability: Mondays - Fridays 11am- 3pm or Tues - Thursday 11am-3pm (with an option to pick up extra shifts as needed) Job Requirements: A love for dogs! High School Diploma Required Previous experience in Dog Walking/Wag or Rover Excellent Communication skills Experienced in Customer Service Ability to handle stressful situations in a positive manner A natural problem-solver Reliable and Trustworthy Flexible schedule Willingness to work with a start-up company Ability to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Preferred Qualifications: Looking to work in Animal Care on a long-term basis Has their own means of transportation (i.e. bike, scooter, car etc.) Knowledge of basic dog commands and dog behavior First Aid and CPR certified for Dogs Compensation: $17-$30/walk based on experience, length of walk, and # of pups

You will be responsible for facilitating Now You’re Clean’s grooming service offering and performing all services that are booked for you. This includes ensuring all services are completed in a high quality, consistent, and safe manner, and that grooming clients receive exceptional customer service in line with the Now You’re Clean culture and community vibe. Key requirements MUST LOVE DOGS Minimum of 3+ years experience grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages Experience managing a grooming salon is a bonus! Exceptional client service with an easygoing and friendly interpersonal style High degree of independent decision-making and problem-solving capability Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills Roles and Responsibilities: Maintain the unique NYC Community vibe Be unrelenting about maintaining a relaxed and welcoming, but confident and capable energy to ensure a positive client experience for all visitors. Provide “above and beyond” customer service Greet all incoming customers and consult on client needs and expectations Proactively communicate with pet parents throughout grooming for any unexpected encounters i.e. matting, injuries, pups experience / temperament. Communicate with client on check out and confirm expectations have been met Upsell /maximize sale opportunities (grooming add-ons, self service wash, products) Support front desk staff (on an ad-hoc as needed basis) to: Facilitate client welcome and check in for Grooming appointments Conduct sales in store, over the phone, and online Dispense treats! Dog Groomer / Stylist - Expectations & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Minimum of 3+ years experience grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages Experience managing a grooming salon is a bonus! Genuine passion for the well-being of dogs and their grooming experience Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills High degree of independent decision-making and problem-solving capability Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills Maintain a clean and comfortable groom room environment at all times Must be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods of time and perform requirements of the job Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends & holidays Projects Work with marketing team and content creators to capture before and after and in-service shots / reels for marketing purposes (this will always be in consultation for the appropriate time). Other duties as required. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: Up to 50% commission + tips. Full time or part-time. We are looking for 2 Dog Groomers. Schedule: Varied schedules available, however must be available 1 weekend day.
