We have a delivery driver position opening early January. Hours: 5am - 1pm, Thurday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday Responsibilities: Pickup (and drop off) laundry bags from one location on lower west side of Manhattan and deliver to upper east side of Manhattan. Approximately 60-70 bags per pickup. Deliver laundry bags to location where laundry will be done. Carry bags into facility where they will be weighed. Then, carry bags to where the washing machines are. Assist laundry team with emptying bags of laundry and assisting in packing bags of laundry. Note: the laundry bags will contain only only towels from a spa. During your work shift, you will make one pickup of laundry from a location on the upper east side and return to the laundry facility and drop off the bags. At the end of your work shift, you will load the delivery van with all laundry bags for delivery the following morning. You must have a clean driving record and qualify for W2 status. Taxes will be taken out. Paid time off. Paid vacation. Paid holidays. $25 per hour. Vehicle provided. Vehicle located in private parking facility on lower east side of Manhattan.

Big City Mobility is an online platform for renting wheelchairs and mobility scooters in New York City. I am looking for eager couriers, or as I like to call, "transit ninjas", to deliver these mobility aids from our conveniently located storage units throughout the city to wherever the customer is, most often a hotel or residence. No car needed; in fact, no car is preferred to avoid wasted time sitting in traffic when one can easily use public transportation. Big City Mobility is a startup in a growth phase and so these roles are currently part-time/on-demand, however as the company grows, more responsibility will be available for all-star performers. Key skills needed are the ability to carry a maximum of 36 lbs up a flight of stairs in the case of a regular wheelchair, creativity to figure out which mode of transportation can fulfill the job most efficiently, and eagerness to help the company grow.
