Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and experienced delivery driver and forklift operator to join our team. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for deliverys and moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise using a forklift. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, keeping the warehouse or facility organized and clean, and following safety procedures and guidelines. Responsibilities: As a driver you need to make sure to load the van and communicate with the customers but the delivery location makes your customers carrying the right item also do pickups by vendors drop off garbage once a week everything has to do with driving Operate a forklift to move goods and materials around the warehouse or facility. Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other containers using the forklift. Perform safety checks on the forklift before and after each shift. Maintain accurate inventory records by counting and tracking merchandise using the forklift. Keep the warehouse or facility organized and clean by moving items to designated areas. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Communicate with other warehouse or facility personnel to coordinate tasks and ensure timely delivery of merchandise. Report any mechanical problems with the forklift to maintenance personnel and ensure that repairs are made promptly. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and productivity. Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge of forklift operation. Qualifications: Valid forklift operator's license or certification Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment Ability to lift heavy objects and operate the forklift in tight spaces Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
