    Bluesky Daycare Center is currently seeking a passionate and ambitious Educational Director with strong leadership and supervisory skills, to join our team.
    OUR EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR WILL:
  • Understand and implement the current curriculum, ensuring our two daycare locations meet all educational goals.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with teachers and parents.
  • Conducting formal and informal teacher observations, staff training and supervising staff on child care programs.
  • Overseeing student assessments.
  • Conducting staff training.
  • Manage daily operations, including funding and ensuring all policy and procedures are met.
  • Supervision of students and staff.
    EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study approved by the department
  • Must hold a NY State Teaching Certificate Birth-2nd
  • Must be Fingerprinted by IdentoGo
  • Must have 2 years of teaching experience AND 1-2 years of supervisory experience in an early childhood setting
  • Proof of SCR clearance
  • Must be willing to undergo BLA Clearance
  • Corresponding training certificates

All Brooklyn RISE teachers are responsible for intellectual preparation for each lesson, building strong and positive relationships with students and families, using data to tailor their instruction, and actively engaging in collaboration with their colleagues.
