Electrician - Life Spot Electric

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including industrial, commercial, and construction sites. Duties

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Read and interpret electrical schematics, construction blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting processes
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or industrial facilities
Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
Ensure all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local safety regulations
Troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage electrical systems to identify faults and implement effective solutions
Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution
Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems
Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical installations
Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) used in electrical work
Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems including safety protocols for working with both types of electrical currents
Ability to use testing instruments such as ohmmeters and ammeters for diagnosing electrical issues
Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and working in dynamic environments
Strong understanding of NEC regulations to ensure compliance during installation and repair tasks
Experience working on construction projects involving frame carpentry or related trades is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical schematics accurately
Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local or state regulations
