Printemps New York, the legendary Parisian luxury retailer, is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Event Manager to join its team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communication, this role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, is deeply operational, and is comfortable working flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, and weekends) to ensure flawless execution. Beyond event production, this role is critical in ensuring seamless 360 coordination and communication across all internal teams and external partners making sure every event is fully aligned, amplified, and executed to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities : Event Strategy & Planning • Develop and execute a dynamic calendar of events, in-store animations and programming aligned with Printemps’ commercial, brand, and cultural objectives, • Translate brand partnerships into elevated, on-brand experiences, • Contribute to the ideation of innovative concepts that drive traffic, engagement, and sales End-to-End Project Management • Own events from concept to execution to post-mortem, • Build and manage detailed timelines, budgets, and run-of-shows, • Ensure all deliverables are met across both Printemps-led events and brand collaborations 360° Internal Coordination (CRITICAL) • Act as the central point of coordination across all internal teams:, • Visual Merchandising, • Buying / Merchandising, • PR & Communications, • Social Media & Content, • Retail & Client Experience, • F&B / Hospitality, • Ensure full alignment and visibility of each event across teams, • Guarantee that events are not only executed operationally, but also fully supported, communicated, and amplified across all channels Brand & Partner Management • Serve as the main point of contact for brand partners, agencies, and collaborators, • Manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables with a high level of professionalism, • Ensure that both Printemps standards and partner objectives are met Operations & Logistics (Core Focus) • Lead all logistical aspects of events:, • vendor sourcing and management, • production (AV, staging, furniture, staffing), • on-site coordination, • Work closely with internal operations teams (security, facilities, store teams), • Anticipate challenges and troubleshoot in real time Client Experience & VIP Events • Ensure a seamless, high-touch experience for all guests, especially VICs, • Support the execution of:, • private shopping events, • trunk shows, • brand-hosted activations, • Collaborate closely with client experience and personal shopping teams Content & Visibility • Partner with PR, marketing, and social teams to:, • ensure proper pre-event communication, • organize content capture (photo/video), • maximize post-event visibility and amplification Profile : Experience • +3 years in event management, experiential marketing, or brand activations, • Background in luxury retail, fashion, hospitality mandatory, • Proven experience managing complex, high-end events with multiple stakeholders Mindset • Entrepreneurial and solutions-driven with a strong sense of ownership, • Comfortable in a startup environment with evolving processes, • Highly proactive, resourceful, and adaptable Key Skills • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, • Strong operational and logistical expertise, • Excellent cross-functional coordination and communication skills, • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision Personal Qualities • Hands-on and execution-focused, • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and luxury standards, • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities, • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills Availability & Work Style • Flexible schedule required: early mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on event needs, • Not a traditional 9–5 role this position requires on-the-ground presence and adaptability Printemps does not provide work authorization sponsorship for this position.
