We are a fire safety company who performs kitchen hood cleaning work throughout the 5 boroughs. Job includes driving to job sites, power washing the kitchen hoods and working well with peers. Individual needs to have flexible schedule. work may include night and day positions. We are an approved FDNY kitchen exhaust cleaning company. We service clients in all five boroughs, long island & Westchester. We are seeking an individual with flexible hours and experience in cleaning kitchen exhaust equipment including (but not limited to) exhaust hoods, ductwork, and precipitator units. We clean and remove grease from restaurant kitchen vent hoods using a pressure washer, usually at night. We are a growing company with opportunities for growth and promotions. The person we are looking for needs to be able to do manual labor, work night/day, and satisfy the above requirements. In general, we clean hoods from 1-3 locations per shift. We are looking for an individual that wants to be a crew leader with the potential to be a possible general manager. this person will need to be consistent, responsible, honest, work well with others, and must have the ability to follow directions. The crew leader will drive our vehicle to restaurants with one or two other employees, coordinate meeting times with restaurant managers, follow our safety and quality procedures, and complete the job in an efficient and professional manner. Long Term Employment: We are going to invest time in training and educating our Crew Leader. We are looking for someone who wants a stable job, stable paycheck, that is loyal to their company, and that would like to stay at their job for an extended period of time. What You’ll Do: - Responsible for managing daily food service in a corporate office setting, including ordering and receiving deliveries, managing inventory to ensure efficiency, plating foods and breaking down each weekday - Responsible for inventory management and communications to HQ including filling out daily consumption reports and weekly rehashes - Supervising and scheduling on site team including monitoring and approving time and attendance, training and developing passionate staff members - Supervise and ensure a food safe and sanitary environment that meets safe food handling guidelines - Responsible for managing customer feedback and relaying that information to the management team to maintain high level quality of service - Monitor and scale standard operating procedures - Display an outgoing and considerate personality with retail or front of house experience in a restaurant, café or catering setting - Inherent problem solver that’s organized, punctual, and tech savvy Who You Are: - Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Skills Training: Assist clients with developing social, communication, academic, and daily living skills to improve their independence and quality of life. Qualifications: Education & Certification: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
