This hybrid role supports glass manufacturing operations and operates a forklift as needed. The position involves handling, cutting, staging, and preparing glass panels for custom shower enclosure production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Safely operate forklift to transport glass racks and materials, • Perform daily forklift inspections, • Measure, cut, and prepare glass panels according to work orders, • Operate glass-processing equipment (cutting tables, polishers, washers), • Inspect glass for chips, scratches, and quality standards, • Stage and label finished glass for assembly or shipment, • Maintain organized and safe work area (5S standards), • Follow all safety and PPE requirements, • Support production team as needed Qualifications Required: • High School Diploma or GED, • Forklift certification, • Ability to lift up to 140 lbs, • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Preferred: • Manufacturing or factory experience, • Experience operating production machinery, • 401(k), • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, • Paid Time Off
