Freelance Floral Designer – Events & Weddings
We are seeking an experienced floral designer to join our team on a freelance, per-project basis for luxury weddings and events. This role is ideal for someone confident in executing elevated designs in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional floral design experience (events/weddings required)
• Strong experience with high centerpieces, large-scale arrangements, and floral installations
• Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines and fast-paced production schedules
• Confident in floral mechanics, recipe execution, and installations
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain design quality under pressure
  Responsibilities:
• Design and produce centerpieces, ceremony pieces, and large-scale installations
• Execute floral recipes accurately and consistently
• Assist with event setup, on-site installs, and breakdown
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace during production
  Schedule & Logistics:
• Project-based work with scheduling confirmed in advance
• Production/prep days take place throughout the week leading up to each event
• Event days require on-site installation and breakdown
• Events are primarily located between NYC and South Jersey
• Travel is required on event days
  Preferred:
• Experience with luxury or high-volume event production
• Knowledge of floral processing and care
• Valid driver’s license a plus
