The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and limited electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education in furtherance of the Planned Parenthood mission. Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund seek a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Federation Fundraising. The SVP reports to Chief Development Officer (CDO) Leora Hanser in the Development division of PPFA. This leader oversees the Federation Fundraising team, the primary engine for unifying national and local fundraising efforts and partnering with affiliates to maximize fundraising opportunities in service of Planned Parenthood’s mission. The SVP is a newly created role reflecting two strategic priorities: significantly growing Planned Parenthood's fundraising through direct response and digital marketing channels, and reimagining collaborative fundraising across the federation to achieve efficiencies and deliver greater, more consistent value to affiliates of various sizes. The SVP leads a team of approximately 50 professionals. This leader will be a key thought partner to the CDO in envisioning the future of federation fundraising at Planned Parenthood, architecting a new, more integrated model that expands revenue and enables effective fundraising practices within the federation, allowing greater investments for providing access to high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care. Planned Parenthood raised approximately $390M from all sources during FY26. The SVP will have a proven track record of excellence in direct response and digital marketing.
