```Duties``` - Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. - Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean and sanitary work area. - Assist with menu planning and contribute to the development of new menu items. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen. - Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor. - Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines. ```Qualifications``` - Proven experience as a cook in the food industry. - Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques. - Familiarity with catering practices and dietary restrictions. - Understanding of proper food handling procedures and safety precautions. - Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and ovens. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
