Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable, energetic, and skilled Grill Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, grilling menu items to perfection, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items on the grill according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food items are cooked to proper temperature and presentation
Perform basic prep work, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and marinating meats
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary station at all times
Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries as needed
Communicate clearly and effectively with other kitchen staff and management
Work efficiently during busy service hours and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
Requirements:
Previous experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
