Hookah Server - V3nom Cafe & Lounge - New York

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista with 3–5 years of experience to join our hookah lounge team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, delivers excellent customer service, and thrives in a relaxed, social lounge environment. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages (espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, mocktails, etc.) Ensure consistent drink quality and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and coffee station Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed Handle cash and POS transactions accurately Provide exceptional customer service in a lounge-style setting Collaborate with hookah staff to ensure a smooth guest experience Follow all health and safety regulations Qualifications: 3–5 years of barista experience (lounge or café experience preferred) Strong knowledge of espresso machines and brewing techniques Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Flexible schedule (evenings and weekends required)

The ideal candidate brings positive energy, strong people skills and a genuine passion for ice cream! This position is SEASONAL and is directly tied to the peak demands of the summer months. The end date of employment is 10/07/2026 unless otherwise specified in the interview. Seasonal Part Time Scoopers at Van Leeuwen's scoop shops make $17.00 per hour + an average of an additional $7 per hour in tips! *Tips are based on averages and subject to seasonal fluctuation.*Our team members must have availability to work at least three shifts per week and be available to work past 12am.
