Responsibilities:
Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus.
Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
Manage the flow of guests in the restaurant.
Tend to special guest needs and requests.
Be observant to guests’ needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service.
Be aware of “where the room is at” — when tables sit, pay, leave, need to be cleared, etc.
Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water (when necessary).
Return any voicemail messages.
Confirm all reservations.
Familiarity with Resy is a plus.
