Lifeguard - GS NFP Management LLC - New York

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible individual to join our team as a Lifeguard. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons at our aquatic facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise swimmers and pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid, CPR, and AED when necessary.
• Enforce all pool rules and policies consistently and fairly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Complete routine checks of safety equipment and report any issues.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA).
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications.
• Strong swimming abilities and excellent physical fitness.
• Exceptional observational skills and the ability to remain focused for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patrons and colleagues.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and make quick decisions.
