Bonilla & Santos LLC is seeking a hardworking and reliable Lumper Yard Jockey to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in yard operations, moving trailers within the yard, and assisting with loading and unloading as needed. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of operations in our yard and warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Safely move and position trailers in the yard for loading and unloading.
Assist with lumping duties, including manually unloading and loading products when required.
Conduct inspections of trailers to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure timely trailer movement and availability.
Maintain a clean and organized yard.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a yard jockey or in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy items during lumping tasks.
Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
