Element Brooklyn is looking for someone to join us full time in our Brooklyn HQ as an Warehouse & Inventory Assistant. Our company brings a new approach to affordable, eco-friendly luxury. We sell soap, cream and candle refills and are rapidly expanding. Your main task will be to help with light manufacturing tasks, such as pouring candles, as well as helping manage inventory and supplies. You'll also occasionally help out our fulfillment team. This is a full-time position that pays a $43,000 per year salary – with the opportunity for a bonus based on production output. Working hours are 10am - 4.30pm Monday-Friday. You'll be working out of our sunny and spacious corner office in Bushwick (it's much better than a normal warehouse environment, we promise!)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. Manage third-party logistics (3PL) relationships to optimize shipping and receiving processes. Perform heavy lifting as necessary and ensure that all team members are trained in proper lifting techniques. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center environment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment and operations. Familiarity with AS400 systems for inventory management is preferred. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is essential. Knowledge of e-commerce processes and shipping/receiving best practices is advantageous. Ability to manage heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to company policies. The forklift operator is responsible for moving materials around a warehouse using a forklift. Their duties include, but are not limited to: Loading and unloading: Moving pallets onto and off of trailers, and from storage areas to loading areas. Stacking: Stacking and unstacking goods onto pallets or shelves. Maintaining: Performing regular maintenance on the forklift and other tools, and inspecting for faults or damage.
