Position: Warehouse & Quality Control Manager Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 Location: Chicago, IL 60617 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Employment Type: Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inbound international shipments, domestic logistics coordination, inventory control, and quality assurance for the distribution network. This role is responsible for managing warehouse staff, coordinating with third-party logistics providers and freight partners, and ensuring accurate inventory visibility and efficient product flow. The position also plays a critical role in quality control and facility oversight. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and lead daily warehouse operations, • Oversee inbound international container flow, • Coordinate unloading, storage, and movement of products, • Maintain accurate inventory and product visibility across warehouse and 3PL locations, • Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics partners, • Communicate with overseas factories regarding shipment delays, quality issues, and supply updates, • Monitor shipping performance and resolve logistics or delivery issues, • Ensure ERP system accuracy and inventory integrity, • Analyze operational and inventory data using Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), • Lead and support quality control processes, including identifying product defects, packaging issues, and shipping damage, • Drive continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency, processes, and workflows, • Oversee warehouse facility operations, including managing maintenance personnel and coordinating capital improvements Qualifications • 3+ years of warehouse management experience in an import, distribution, or logistics environment, • Experience working with international shipments and container management, • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination, • ERP system experience required (Discovery Solutions preferred, but not required), • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data analysis), • Experience working with 3PL providers and freight carriers, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications • Experience with barcoding systems and inventory tracking technologies, • Quality control experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, • Experience resolving packaging, product handling, or shipping issues, • Spanish language skills are a plus Ideal Candidate Profile • Strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally, • Data-driven and detail-oriented, • Process-minded with a continuous improvement approach, • Hands-on leader comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and in a reporting/coordination capacity, • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills To be considered for this opportunity, please reach out to Trova Advisory Group by sending an email to with your resume, the position you are applying for, and a brief introduction.
