Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate processes customer orders and handles boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment. This role involves frequent manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while performing tasks that require standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting throughout the shift. Responsibilities • Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently according to established procedures., • Lift, carry, move, and arrange boxes containing files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials throughout the warehouse., • Perform frequent physical activities including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and twisting during the entire shift., • Pack boxes securely and neatly to ensure safe handling, storage, and transport., • Use pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely within the warehouse., • Assist with warehouse inventory activities, including counting, organizing, and tracking stock., • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by following all safety guidelines and housekeeping standards., • Follow all operational procedures and instructions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality of work., • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and timelines.Essential Skills, • At least 1 year of warehouse experience., • Ability to lift 10–100 lbs consistently throughout the shift., • Ability to stand on feet for up to 8 hours a day., • Experience with warehouse inventory and inventory control tasks., • Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and twisting., • Ability to safely operate a pallet jack., • Ability to pack boxes efficiently and securely., • Reliability and punctuality to work scheduled shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Comfort working in a physically demanding role for the full duration of the shift., • Strong attention to detail when handling and organizing materials., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately., • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to assist in various warehouse tasks as needed.Why Work Here? The work involves using basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and working around shelving, pallets, and stacked boxes. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient movement of materials, with practical, comfortable attire suitable for physical warehouse work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
