Job Description Work Schedule: Full Time, M – F, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. SUMMARY: As a warehouse employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibilities will involve various physical tasks, such as loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, using manual lifting equipment or forklifts as required., • Inventory Organization: Sort, stack, and store products and materials in designated areas within the warehouse, following established organizational systems and inventory management protocols., • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack products based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness., • Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages, discrepancies, or defects. Report any issues to supervisors or appropriate personnel., • Packaging and Labeling: Assist in packaging and labeling products for shipment, adhering to company standards and customer requirements., • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines., • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris. Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment as necessary., • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials, safe operation of equipment, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required., • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and any relevant documentation, ensuring completeness and timely submission., • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks., • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills/Requirements: • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods., • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory, packing products, and inspecting shipments for quality control purposes., • Adaptability: Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands., • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate production demands., • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals., • Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and willingness to follow them rigorously to maintain a safe work environment., • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment., • Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure smooth operations and meet production schedules., • Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and record-keeping., • Forklift Certification (Preferred): Prior experience and certification in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is an advantage.
