Operations and Warehouse Associate To perform general stock-related functions and support the business with general warehouse duties including but not limited to receiving, picking, packing, shipping orders and basic janitorial duties. Warehouse & Logistics • Picking, packing, and shipping outbound orders., • Keeping the warehouse and its contents clean and orderly., • Ensure stock accuracy by paying attention to part numbers., • Receiving inbound orders, inspecting for damage and accuracy in quantities., • When a problem arises relating to either quantity or damage to goods upon arrival, work with management to resolve., • Participating in the annual stock count., • Monitoring and tracking of warehouse goods and consumables, work with management to order any new supplies. Janitorial • Ensure that all internal and external building areas are always kept clean and tidy. This includes but is not limited to vacuuming, cleaning of bathrooms and common areas., • Ensure all facilities, equipment and tools are in a working order., • Ensure all facilities and equipment are kept clean and tidy and always stored correctly., • Ensure office space is always kept clean and tidy. Cable Crimping • Proficient in the process of cutting, testing, and crimping cables with different connectors., • Understand the testing process and experience on how to operate an analyzer and multimeter., • Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive specialist production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies such as cables, harnesses, and control panels., • Production of wire harness and cable assemblies using hand and power tools (including specialized crimpers, drills, soldering tools, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wire strippers, precision measuring instruments, etc.), • Daily cable and harness techniques (wire cutting, stripping, crimping, pinning out, soldering, braiding, use of lacing tape to secure wire bundles, testing, etc.), • Ability to read and understand the customer drawings, parts list, wire list, and instructions on how to manufacture the wire harness and cable assembly., • Make continuity checks on work in process., • Conduct in-process inspections on product in accordance with quality specifications., • Work collaboratively with the Management team to correct and improve upon any documents related to the assembly process. Administration and Reporting • General correspondence and administration completed accurately and timeously., • Email, inbox, and data managed timeously and effectively., • Professional image maintained in all communication., • All reporting and feedback requirements met, and reports completed accurately and timeously, according to company requirements., • Adhere to departmental processes and standard operating procedures., • Supply statistics and information as requested. Qualifications & Experience • High school degree or equivalent (previous experience will be considered), • Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English., • Displayed comprehension of assembly practices and technologies., • Familiarity with assembly tools, processes, and terminology., • Ability to distinguish colors is required., • Technical knowledge of electronics and mechanical designs; must be able to read and understand customer drawings and or schematics., • Understanding of the application and functioning of test equipment., • Good verbal and written communication skills., • Individual must be able to work at the pace necessary to meet customer demands with minimal supervision., • Self-motivated team player., • IPC Solder and Rework Certified a plus., • Lift up to 60 pounds., • RF experience would be advantageous.
