Job Description JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Warehouse/Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing complex inventory operations, ensuring accuracy in inventory systems (SAP), and supporting warehouse processes including receiving, storage, transfers, and shipments. This role also involves leading investigations, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: • Manage inventory using SAP, including receiving, transfers, cycle counts, and adjustments, • Ensure compliance with FEFO (First Expiry First Out) and proper handling of expired/obsolete inventory, • Receive and inspect raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, • Perform accurate real-time data entry and maintain inventory records, • Label, package, and store materials appropriately in warehouse locations, • Prepare and transfer materials for production, shipping, or external warehouses, • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with GDP and quality standards, • Lead inventory variance investigations, CAPA activities, and audit responses, • Act as key user or backup for system updates, testing, and releases, • Train and mentor junior technicians on warehouse operations and systems, • Order and manage support materials (labels, packaging supplies, etc.), • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse (5S practices), • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, • Prioritize tasks, make decisions independently, and manage projects end-to-end Required Qualifications:, • High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s Degree preferred), • Minimum 6+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience, • Advanced knowledge of SAP (inventory queries, transfers, TO/TR orders, adjustments), • Experience with cycle counts, inventory control, and discrepancy resolution, • Forklift certification (stand-up, sit-down, order pickers, pallet jacks), • Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP, WCS, etc.), • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, • Ability to work weekends/on-call as required Preferred Qualifications:, • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodology, • Green Belt certification (Six Sigma), • Experience with GoTrack or similar systems for investigations Education: High School Company DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
